ABout The founder
Hi, My name is Emily Jukic and I am the founder of Passel Period. I am currently a junior at Jserra Catholic High School located in San Juan Capistrano. Throughout my life so many incredible women have impacted me whether it was a teacher or my incredible mother but it struck me, there are many amazing women out in the world without access to proper menstrual products. Passel Period was born from the strength and stories of the women around me — women who show up, speak out, and care deeply.
From the mothers who give everything they have for their families, to the women in shelters who face each day with resilience and grace — these are the women who move me to act.
I’m inspired by:
• The single mom working two jobs and still showing up for her kids with a smile.
• The high school girl who missed class because she didn’t have access to a pad — and still managed to graduate at the top of her class.
• The community leaders and volunteers who give their time and energy to help others, no matter how busy their own lives are.
• My own mother, who taught me that compassion is strength and that we are all responsible for lifting each other up.
Every product we collect, every donation we make — it’s all in honor of these women and countless others whose stories are often unheard.
Passel Period exists because of them.
